Rohit Shetty-hosted stunt reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 has officially begun filming in Cape Town, South Africa. However, shooting has kicked off on a rather chaotic note for social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry.
The Khiladis flew to the international location earlier this week. While fans eagerly await the new season, behind-the-scenes drama has already started spilling onto social media. Orry took to Instagram Stories to share his exasperation over punctuality issues and feeling “sidelined” by fellow contestants.
‘Punctuality has died’: Orry’s first-day rant
Orry shared a video from the bus transporting contestants to the shoot location, seemingly shocked to see only two co-stars on time. “Okay, guys, it’s 5:20 in the morning. Are we the only ones here? Seems like punctuality has died,” he said in the clip, naming Jasmin Bhasin and Avika Gor as the only ones present.
The influencer’s complaints didn’t stop there. In another story, he claimed, “Sitting alone on the bus because no one wants to talk to me.” Fellow contestant Jasmin Bhasin added fuel to the fire by teasing him, calling him a “loner” who is “so sad in life.”
Adding to his list of woes, Orry reposted a video where he alleged, “All the contestants are singling me out because I am an English medium boy.” Despite the complaints, the posts appeared to be a mix of jest and genuine irritation as the group adjusts to the intense schedule.
Rohit Shetty’s dramatic entry leaked
While Orry was dealing with bus dramas, host Rohit Shetty made a blockbuster entry. A first look from the sets has leaked online, showing the filmmaker making a grand entrance by stepping off a helicopter. The signature Shetty style seems to be intact, promising high-octane energy for the upcoming season.
The star-studded line-up
The 15th season features a mix of returning favourites and new faces. This season is particularly special as it marks the return of many ex-Khiladis. Contestants include Rubina Dilaik (KKK 12), Karan Wahi (KKK 8), Rithvik Dhanjani (KKK 8), Jasmin Bhasin (KKK 9), and Vishal Aditya Singh (KKK 11).
Joining them are first-timers: Gaurav Khanna, Farhana Bhatt, Harsh Gujral, Shagun Sharma, Ruhanika Dhawan, and Avinash Mishra.
Orry on facing his fears
Despite the chaotic start, Orry is taking the adventure seriously. In a conversation with SCREEN, he spoke about his decision to join the show. “I feel life is all about experiencing things… I am very adventurous, and everything that I do is pretty crazy,” he said. He also confessed that his biggest fear is actually “aging” and “not being a cute little boy,” but he is ready to problem-solve his way through the stunts.
Release date
Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 is set to premiere in mid-June 2026 and will air on Colors TV and Jio Hotstar every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm.
