Charlie Puth has canceled his Saturday, June 6 concert in Orlando, Florida, just hours before he was scheduled to take the stage. The singer cited an ongoing illness and a doctor’s recommendation to rest in order to preserve the remainder of his Whatever’s Clever! World Tour.

The four-time Grammy-nominated artist shared the news with fans via an Instagram Story on Saturday afternoon. The show was scheduled to take place at the Addition Financial Arena.

‘I am so devastated’

In his statement, Puth expressed deep regret over the last-minute cancellation.

“I am so devastated to do this, but I have to cancel tonight’s show,” Puth wrote. “I’ve been sick for the last few days and am now being instructed to rest or else risk canceling more dates on this tour.”

The “Attention” singer emphasized that performing for his fans is his priority, but his physical condition made it impossible to deliver the show they deserve.

“Performing for you all each night means everything to me, and you all deserve the best. I’m heartbroken, but I physically am unable to perform. Without a voice, I can’t give you guys the show you all deserve,” he continued.

Refund Information

The Addition Financial Arena confirmed the cancellation on social media, sharing Puth’s statement and providing instructions for ticket holders.

“Sorry for the delay as we here at the Arena were awaiting final decision. Charlie Puth’s Whatever’s Clever! tour scheduled for tonight is canceled with no rescheduled date,” the arena announced. “Please refer to your original point of purchase for refunds.”

What’s Next for the Tour

The Orlando show was the final Florida stop on the North American leg of the tour. Puth had performed in Hollywood, Florida on June 5, just one day before the cancellation.

According to the tour schedule, Puth is currently set to resume performances on June 9 in Nashville, Tennessee, followed by shows in Austin (June 11), Irving (June 12), and Houston (June 13).

After completing the remaining U.S. dates, Puth will head to Europe, where the tour is scheduled to continue on June 27 in Odense, Denmark, before making stops in Sweden, Finland, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and other countries.

The Whatever’s Clever! World Tour, which supports Puth’s fourth studio album of the same name released in March 2026, is one of the singer’s largest live productions to date, featuring nearly 50 shows across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.

Fans holding tickets for the canceled Orlando performance are advised to contact their original point of purchase for refunds. No rescheduled date has been announced for the Orlando show at this time.
