Mumbai, India – This week’s lineup brings a fresh mix of OTT releases across Amazon Prime Video, SonyLIV, JioHotstar, Apple TV, and Netflix. From the third installment of the Emmy-nominated anthology Lust Stories to the return of the espionage drama Slow Horses, here are 14 new movies and shows worth watching between September 14 and September 20.
The Doll (Netflix, September 16) – This six-episode period drama is a modern adaptation of Boleslaw Prus’ classic Polish novel, following ambitious merchant Stanisław Wokulski, whose obsession with aristocrat Izabela Łęcka drives him to use his wealth to gain entry into Warsaw’s elite circles.
Neagley (Amazon Prime Video, September 16) – After the mysterious death of a close friend, Frances Neagley (Maria Sten) sets out to uncover the truth herself, taking her deep inside a sinister cult. An action-packed spin-off of Reacher, the series sees Sten reprise her role as the sharp private investigator.
Slow Horses Season 6 (Apple TV, September 16) – The season continues to focus on Jackson Lamb (Gary Oldman) and his dysfunctional team of disgraced MI5 agents as they find themselves caught up in a dangerous game of retaliation and revenge, orchestrated by Diana Taverner (Kristin Scott Thomas).
The Fixers (Netflix, September 17) – This Taiwanese action-comedy revolves around a down-on-his-luck former gangster, Felix Chiang (Christopher Lee), who reluctantly teams up with the arrogant son of a politician to handle the dirty secrets of powerful clients.
Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story (Netflix, September 17) – Created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan, this eight-episode anthology series is inspired by the infamous 1892 murders of Andrew and Abby Borden, allegedly committed by their daughter Lizzie Borden (Ella Beatty).
Plastic Beauty (Netflix, September 17) – After being forced out of her position at a hospital, gifted emergency surgeon Fumi Numata (Mayu Matsuoka) finds herself working in the world of cosmetic medicine, where she clashes with celebrity cosmetic surgeon Rin Tohyama (Riisa Naka).
Lee Cronin’s The Mummy (JioHotstar, September 17) – Journalist Charlie Cannon and his wife Larissa are stunned when their daughter Katie returns home eight years after mysteriously disappearing in Egypt, only to discover she is host to an ancient demonic parasite.

Best of the Best (Netflix, September 18) – This coming-of-age comedy explores the lives of childhood best friends Maya (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) and Anjali (Priyanka Kedia) as they join UCLA’s highly competitive Bollywood-fusion dance team.
Minerva Academy (Netflix, September 18) – Set at a strict military school in Naples, this Italian teen drama follows three cadets as they struggle with discipline, family expectations, and the pressures of school life.
Lust Stories 3 (Netflix, September 18) – Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Shakun Batra, Vishal Bhardwaj, and Kiran Rao, the third installment of the anthology features four short stories exploring modern relationships, with an ensemble cast including Konkona Sen Sharma, Radhika Apte, Vijay Varma, and Ali Fazal.
The Scandal (Netflix, September 18) – Inspired by Les Liaisons dangereuses, this period romance K-drama revolves around Lady Cho (Son Ye-jin) and Cho Won (Ji Chang-wook), who orchestrate a high-stakes seduction game set in the Joseon Dynasty.
You+Me – Against the World (Amazon Prime Video, September 18) – Based on Emma Green’s best-selling trilogy, this series delves into the life of Alma, an aspiring filmmaker, and Vadim, a rebel with a troubled past, whose relationship takes a dangerous turn when an anonymous stalker begins sending threats.
Thudakkam (JioHotstar, September 18) – Centres around Meenu (Vismaya Mohanlal), a skilled martial arts practitioner whose world is upended after a terrifying encounter with a contract killer leads to her sudden disappearance.
Kattalan (SonyLIV, September 18) – Set along the Kerala–Tamil Nadu border, this thriller focuses on the violent turf war between rival ivory-poaching syndicates, with Antony Varghese playing a notorious poacher.
