Telugu star Venkatesh Daggubati has joined the sets of director Anil Ravipudi’s upcoming film, tentatively titled VenkyAnil5. The film features Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty in the leading roles. As per the latest buzz, the veteran star seems to have joined the latest shooting schedule.
According to a report by IANS, the team is gearing up for several important scenes of the film. A huge set has been specially built for this schedule. The team expects to shoot several important portions during this schedule.
Team celebrates Kalyan Ram’s birthday
A few days ago, the makers celebrated Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s birthday on the film’s sets by cutting a cake. They also released a special poster showing the actor in a stylish new look.
Sharing the poster, the makers wrote: “Team #VenkyAnil5 #NKRAR2 wishes their beloved @NANDAMURIKALYAN a very Happy Birthday. Presenting him in his most stylish avatar yet with unmatched elegance and swagger. #HappyBirthdayNKR. SANKRANTHI 2027 Release.”
Pooja ceremony
The film was launched with a traditional pooja ceremony. Veteran producer Allu Aravind gave the first clap for the project. The makers have already confirmed that Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty are part of the cast.
National Award-winning music director G V Prakash has also joined the film. Welcoming him, director Anil Ravipudi wrote: “I’ve always admired @gvprakash’s ability to make music that connects instantly with audiences. Thrilled to welcome him on board for #VenkyAnil5.”
About the film
The film is expected to be a family entertainer with humor and emotions. It is being planned for a Sankranthi 2027 release. It marks Anil Ravipudi’s fifth collaboration with Venkatesh after F2, F3, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam and MSG. It is also his second film with Nandamuri Kalyan Ram after Pataas.
